The growing role of herbaria in biodiversity research

For a while now, I have been fascinated with understanding the importance of herbaria and their collections to modern research. My interest has led me to explore the value of these collections to applications like Species Distribution Modelling, quantifying plant niches, and even things I am less familiar with, like genetic monitoring. While not the focus of my PhD, these projects have been a load of fun!
