I am a PhD candidate at McGill University in Dr. Laura Pollock's lab. In my PhD, I am interested in how species interactions could influence how species respond to climate change and what this means for biodiversity conservation here in Canada. Specifically, I aim to answer 3 main questions critical to the future of Canadian biodiversity:
How do species interactions influence climate-driven range shifts in Canadian species?Â
How can we translate the threats posed by climate change on species distributions into conservation decisions and priorities?
How can we use species interactions, together with citizen science data, to infer biogeographic patterns in community assembly?
